Pasture — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

Pasture is a personal medication tracker. This policy explains what data it handles and — just as importantly — what it doesn't.

What Pasture stores

The medications, schedules, dose limits, and dose history you enter into Pasture, so it can remind you and track them for you.

Not medical advice

Pasture is a personal medication tracking and reminder app. It does not provide medical advice, determine whether a medication is appropriate for you, or assess whether taking a medication is medically safe. Any limits, schedules, or medication rules used by Pasture are entered or configured by you.

Where it's stored

By default, your medication data stays entirely on your device, in local app storage.

If you turn on iCloud Sync in Settings (off by default), your data syncs to your own private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit, so it's available on your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID. This uses Apple's private-database architecture — the developer of Pasture cannot see, access, or receive this data at any point. It stays between your devices and Apple's iCloud, under your Apple ID's own privacy protections.

What Pasture does not do

Notifications

If you turn on notifications (off by default), Pasture schedules reminders locally on your device using Apple's notification system. This doesn't involve sending your data anywhere either.

Crash and diagnostic data

If you've opted in to sharing analytics with app developers (an iOS setting, off by default), Apple may share crash reports for Pasture with Lucrative Kine when the app crashes. These contain technical information only — device model, OS version, and which part of the app's code was running at the time — not your medication data. Pasture doesn't use any third-party crash-reporting or analytics service; this goes through Apple's own built-in mechanism only, the same one every app on the App Store can use.

Subscriptions

Pasture's subscription is handled entirely by Apple via the App Store (StoreKit). Payment details are handled by Apple, not the developer — Apple acts as merchant of record. Lucrative Kine does not receive or store your payment card details or other payment information handled by Apple. See Apple's standard licence terms for how in-app purchases work.

Health data

Medication information is inherently sensitive. Pasture treats it accordingly: it never leaves your device unless you explicitly opt in to iCloud Sync, in which case it goes only to your own private iCloud storage — never to the developer or any third party.

Your data, your control

You can export or delete all your data at any time from Settings. Deleting the app removes everything stored locally; turning off iCloud Sync stops further syncing (it doesn't retroactively delete what's already been synced to your iCloud — you can delete that yourself via iCloud settings on your device).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change too. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
